User Agreement

Welcome to "Paperflood" (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of our mobile or web application (the “App”), which uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) to parse and extract data from paper-based documents.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 4 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your country, your use of the App must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Use of AI Technology

The App uses AI models to analyze, parse, and extract structured information from scanned documents, photos, or text-based images. While we strive for high accuracy, the results are not guaranteed to be 100% correct or complete. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the output.

3. User Content

By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing you with the App’s functionality.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and store your data.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the App are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the App without permission.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

-Use the App for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

-Interfere with the App’s operation or security;

-Attempt to extract or repurpose any underlying AI model or dataset.

7. No Warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including inaccuracies in data extraction.

9. Modifications

We may modify this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes, and your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of this Agreement.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.
